The time of the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is fast approaching. This is the time when the Chinese people celebrate their harvests, a happy occasion very similar to our Canadian Thanksgiving.
Chinese Flag Raising
FCCM organizes flag raising events in Markham, Richmond Hill and Vaughan City Hall. Each location has featured entertainment, food and drink, and a flag raising ceremony with free attendance.
Thanksgiving - Autumn Harvest Festival
Anyone can contribute food to feed their hungry neighbors! Bring a non-perishable food to donate while shopping.
